Walter Priebst, an artist who has created works of international standing in Germany (Dresden School), USA, Mexico and Greece (Crete). Represented in museums in Germany (Dresden), USA (Guggenheim) and Mexico (State Collection)
Born in Dresden, studies at the universities of art of Dresden and Hamburg, emigration to the USA, state artist in Mexico, studios on the isle of Crete and in Munich. The painter, sculptor and jewellery designer, Walter Horst Priebst was a wanderer between many worlds.
