Born in Guatemala from Norwegian parents. Wencke moved to Canada in 1984 where she made her home in Toronto, Ontario. While her interest in fine arts has been life-long, she started painting seriously in the last 15 years. Educated as an interior designer she has been dedicated to art classes and workshops to continue her passion in painting and the arts. With her natural talent and knowledge of design principles, she works in acrylics and oil pastels and likes to portray the many beauties of nature that surrounds her. Wencke's paintings have been exhibited in the Toronto area in numerous art shows and acquired by private collectors.
