W.A.Davison is a multidisciplinary artist working in visual art, film and video, performance art, music/sound, writing/poetry, networking, artistic collaboration, and organizing/curating. His work in various media derives from a thorough exploration of aleatoric and ludic creative processes.
Born in Nova Scotia (1962), he studied fine art at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design and experimental music at Dalhousie University before moving to Toronto in 1989.
He has been producing art in a professional context for over 30 years and is active and recognized on an international level.
Significant exhibitions have included Art Basel (Basel, Switzerland) and The Whitney Biennial (New York City, USA) and his work has been published in Rampike (Canada), Vaso Comunicante (Mexico), Alkom X (France), Carousel (Canada), and Walrus Magazine (Canada).
