William Lachance

Listed among Artnet's index of TOP 500 ARTISTS FROM THE UNITED STATES, BORN 1966 OR AFTER, William LaChance is an American painter and professor of painting and art history born in St Louis, MO., received a BFA from The Kansas City Art Institute and an MFA from Indiana University and was artist in residence at The Chautauqua Institution, New York and The Oxbow School, Michigan. William LaChance's works are in the permanent collections of The US Federal Reserve, Lambert St Louis International Airport, The National Broadcasting Company (NBC) and Nike Inc. William LaChance has been published in JUXTAPOZ Magazine, Architectural Digest, VOGUE, HYPEBEAST, ARTFORUM, ARTDESK and Le MILE. LaChance's mural adorning the Kinloch, MO basketball courts was recently named the best designed art court in the world by Architectural Digest and VOGUE Magazine
