About Ira Ivanova

Ira Ivanova is an experienced painter and decorator. Her preferred mediums are acrylic and water color, and over the years she has developed a unique skillset and style. Ira’s art is marked by her love for nature and the intensity of city life. She uses contrast and bright colors to give strength to her favorite subject – ABSTRACT.

Ira about her art:
My art is defined as a mix between abstract-realism, sur-realism, and pop art. I like to play with colors, humans figures, abstract shapes, and spots. I work periodically in various techniques and like to experiment with different materials and techniques. My goal is to create personal artwork that consists of endless variations. Many of my paintings have layers of texture while some are painted with more transparent colors, with lots of water and spontaneous brush movements. My inspiration comes from all of the beauty around me. I strongly believe that we live in a wonderful world full of joy and positivity. I love the process of painting; it is fun and it brings joy to my life. Through the process of creating I hope to share the positive energy and joy of life with others.

Her work is in private and public collections in Norway, the United States, the United Kingdom, Dubai, Denmark, Australia and other countries.
