Fernando Lopez Lorrio

Following a family tradition, I started the artistic activity in 1996 in a self-taught way.
I have studied different artistic tendencies, focusing on abstract expressionism and constructivism, incorporating volumes with matter and turning the practice of collage into an experimental laboratory where, with tools and materials other than brushes and pigments I make a pure painting without painting looking for a path towards abstraction through expression.

I have taken the course "In the Studio: Postwar Abstract Painting" of the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
