1954 Battersea London.
I grew up in London with my Grandmother due to my Mother being ill.I have always loved to paint and draw and won my first competition aged 5 at the local Saturday morning Picture house.
I was given a box of oil paints by my Grandmother and always encouraged with being creative.My Grandfather was an accomplished Artist but did not make use of it.
I turned proffessional two years ago at the ripe old age of 50 and have had favourable successs especially with my Sunset and Seascape paintings.

My Inspiration comes from the great impressionists Monet Manet and Turner.The use of Colour in such a way makes the image dance on the Canvas.This I try to bring to my artwork a piece of my inner being,so that the viewee can feel the warmth and vibrancy.

I have no formal training whatsoever and feel this has had a beneficial effect to my work as it is truly from within and nothing stops the process.,
