When I was a schoolchild, I dream to become an interior designer. It is the reason I have received an academic base in drawing and was studying with a tutor-artist for 3 years before entering the university. For two years while studying at the Academy of Architecture, the compulsory program consisted of drawing, composition, color lessons, and so on.
Finally, I haven’t become an interior designer, because one day my tutor-artist, with whom my art studies began, gave me a book by an American pastel artist. This book with its photos of the artist's huge studio with high ceilings and numerous works hung on the walls of this studio excited my imagination. The impressions of this book have forever settled in my mind and after time I began to understand that in the depths of my soul there were dreams of my art workshop, canvases, painted pictures.
That’s how I came to fine art and how my endless love for pastels was born, with the help of which I want to tell about loving the world, nature, people and to convey my emotions and feelings of delight, that overwhelming me with the beauty and wealth of this world.
