About The Artwork
This piece was inspired by a song by The Smiths called "How Soon Is Now". It's part of a collection called "Messages You Must Return", based on song lyrics. I chose haunting songs that had an emotional impact throughout my life, and am hoping that the viewer connects to my piece on that emotional level as well. The doodle-like quality of the drawing mirrors the lyrics.
