Alex Foltz

I am a traditional artist plagued by an obsession with surreal oddities, life, death, and the human condition. My work is a reflection of my fascination with our place in the universe, and the very human attempt to defy it.

The biggest questions in life, and the parts of it that deeply affect us all are often the things we shy away from. I aim to shine a light on these subjects and hold the metaphorical mirror up to our fears and insecurities, and the unacknowledged beauty and harmony behind them.

Self taught with 20 years experience, and over 10 years as an oil painter and portrait artist.
