Spent most of childhood in London. I love to paint figurative work showing emotions and daily life experiences. I try to capture the mystery of inner dialogue outwardly expressed. I am fascinated by expressions and the colours of skin. I mainly paint in oils (Michael Harding)as I love the texture. Nearly all the people in my work are people I know with backgrounds made up from the imagination. 'Peel a layer and look beneath the surface.' Shortlisted for Artist of the Year, Artist & Illustrator. Published in a book by Quadrille called 'A Little Book of Portraits: Beyond the Canvas. Exhibition at Alma Theatre and tavern Clifton Bristol February 2016. Exhibition of three works at Artexpertise Florence, Italy April 2018. Pre selected for Royal Portrait Society 2019,2020. Jackson's Art Prize long list, awaiting result April 2021.
