Artist Jui Lee, who is always concerned about what is defined by others, embodies unrealistic images of reality on the screen, making us think about what is real or what is fake. In terms of materials and techniques, various coloring tools such as oil painting, acrylic, stone powder, oil pastel, and charcoal are used to create a colorful feeling.
In terms of content, even cognitive tension is sophisticatedly resolved by adding geometric patterns to realistically depicted scenes to make them appear unfamiliar. Therefore, artist Lee Jui's work allows us to imagine the story hidden behind visible objects, allows us to see what we see differently, and allows us to feel the dual charm of actively speaking to the audience while seeming to hide what we want to say.
