Texas based pastel portraitist Jeanne Litt explores the twaiji or the gaze of God in her subjects’ eyes. More than a likeness, these pastel portraits radiate the emotional depth and individuality of their subjects. They are currently on exhibit at the Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts in Spring, Texas.
I’m a Renaissance woman who enjoys self-expression in all its forms—painting, writing, standup, and spoken word. I observe life through the lens of spiritual psychology, seeking meaning in the oneness and laughter in the unexpected.
It’s about listening and loving deeply; being brave enough to be authentic. I paint what I can’t put into words, write what I can’t say out loud, and perform what I used to only let run me.
