ŠPela Trobec

Slovene visual artist. Lives and works in A Coruña, Spain. Active across illustration, painting, graphic design, scenography, and puppet design, with a multidisciplinary practice that combines visual storytelling, stage aesthetics, and contemporary art.

Over the years, she is collaborating with state puppet theaters in Slovenia as a scenographer and puppet designer, creating visual concepts, stage environments for contemporary theatrical productions.

She is a co-owner of Nunca Choveu, an independent art space in A Coruña, Spain, that serves both as a studio and as a platform for exhibitions, workshops, performances, and interdisciplinary artistic events.
