I do not have an art degree and rightfully so as I would not have been a great student and probably would have quit. I dropped out of beauty school after 3 months because I was an anal retentive shaper with scissors. I went after getting a college degree in Business and I didn't allow myself to fully indulge in the creativity aspect of it that I sought deep down. I even got accepted later on into UNLV's department of Fine Arts and yet fled from Las Vegas before starting and ended up in San Diego. That was in 2002. It wasn't until 2010, and 5 years after getting an MBA, when I took an acrylic painting class for the fun of it. Then an oil painting class after that and during that time I got a commission and won 3rd place in a student art exhibit. I lost to two paintings of dogs. Anyone would have...they were really cute dogs.

Later that year, random chances of meeting certain people brought me to the exquisite encounters with my ultimate art and life mentors. Jeffery Pollack and Solomon Cohen in San Diego. Those two amazing souls forever changed my life and allowed my inner art goddess to flourish in ways unimaginable.
