Mare Incognitum: Unknown Waters

I’m interested in how we explore our physical surroundings and how we explore online in this current age. I use my own experience as a primary guide. I give playful nods to my own journey by embedding this content in the media and materials I use. I draw all of this source material from simple searches (mermaids, Detroit, and black travel) on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and archived photos, videos, and advertisements on the internet.
