Original paitings in style of Dark Surrealism

My surreal paintings I take with greater seriousness and respect. The painting takes several weeks and sometimes several months for each of them. These artworks don't carry the purpose to frighten, to convey anxiety or fear. Despite the fact that I use the tag "horror" to describe the genre, my painting is more about a psychological drama, which takes place in each of us in different degree. During the work I try to avoid the clichés used by artists in various dark directions of popular culture. I want my works to literally touch the audience, affect it, to be maximally sincere. And, besides terrible images and outrageous creative decisions, I ask viewer to find echoes of deep experience, feelings and salvation in them.
