Hook, Line and Sinkers Collage

Inspired by vintage fishing lures and bobbers, this is one of my original paper collages created directly on a wood panel. Using Hosho and masa print papers, I cut and collaged these monoprinted papers, onto a paper lined background. I combined the elements in this piece to give a sense of breath and simplicity within my work. The colored shapes reference vintage fishing bobbers floating in a timeless space. This collage is created on a cradled 12" x 12" wood panel; sides are left in natural wood. Wired, signed and dated on the reverse. Framing is at the discretion of the buyer.
