Geese Departing Molson Lake Drawing

I live in a small town adjacent a Lake "Molson Lake" - a certain time of year the birds migrate for the winter and the lake freezes over solid for many months in an extreme winter climate. I wanted to communicate how the color drains from Nature, but also a new sort of vibrancy enters over late fall and winter. that even though everything becomes desaturated there is still color, energy, and vibrancy within a person in their inner cosmic ocean and with the relationships between people. I am also heavily influenced by Architect Frank Lloyd Wright, and sought to imbue this drawing with some of his ethos -
