"The face of Mother... Nature" is a work that explores the face of "Mother Nature" through a performance where the artist's body moves and uses simple lines to connect with his roots. It is a piece that invites us to reflect and contemplate nature in a performative act that resembles an artistic ritual to reveal the face of the hidden forest and open the door to that latent form that observes us between the leaves and the morning dew. It also addresses the separation of humans from nature and their eventual reunion, encouraging us to dream of simpler times and lives more rooted in the earth. These dreams might be inaccessible to the minds of electric sheep. "The face of the mother... Nature" is a work that works on human subjectivity through the language of nature, allowing a face to emerge in the depths of the forest. She uses wavy lines whose flow resembles the water that flows from springs or the slopes that rise on the horizon towards the top of volcanoes. This piece is also inspired by the branches of trees and their roots, as if we were imagining in dreams the peaceful and calm face of nature. It is a sleeping giant that remains that way until he awakens with a force capable of destroying everything. It is the latent force of sleeping nature, which invites us not to disturb it, but to observe it and share with it its sounds and silences, meeting points with the very essence of the human experience. The stealthy and thunderous singing of some birds was, among other sounds, what accompanied this work.

Carlos Jimenez finds his greatest source of inspiration in love and life. His observation of the lives that surround him, which transmit a spark to him, is the essential driving force that moves the artist to bring each work to fruition, using pieces of memories and his heart, sometimes broken, sometimes filled with unforgettable memories. His work is personal and very passionate, reflecting his sense of the search for a truth that may or may not exist. His philosophy is pragmatic, but with esoteric and passionate points of view about the meaning of life and the destiny of each person in the world. A little referenced to Albert Camus, Jimenez accepts the absurd and embraces it. To paraphrase Frédéric Beigbeder, he says, “My problem is that I don't believe in God, but I do believe in miracles.”
