About The Artwork
The Version of Eve is Eve's part of the story showing her frontal view while Adam shadows behind her. The floating ,green leaves from the fig tree in the background are what Adam and Eve weren't to have access to. The floating, white leaves Eve had permission to touch. For as we know from the book of Genesis, she ate the forbidden fruit from the fig tree (the tree of knowledge...good and evil). The moral to this story is obedience and God's grace.
