This artwork was inspired by a period of loneliness experienced during the pandemic. Creating this painting was a bit like rediscovering oneself, in fact the title suggests love for oneself and for others, but also the love for the beauty hidden in the soft poses of women's bodies and hair. Made with India ink, gold E-coline and markers on paper, it was made in two different moments, the first was the drawing and coloring with markers, then months later, I painted the background with gold.

Biography Lidia Cestari, aka Era Divina, is a Roman artist, illustrator, graphic designer and photographer. She was born on the 11th of March 1977 in Rome in a modest family. Her father was a surveyor and her mother was a primary school teacher. She lives most of her life in Aprilia, a town in the province of Latina and since she was little she has shown a strong interest in art and music. Endowed with great sensitivity and a good "hand" in drawing, she was directed to attend the art school. About Work After graduating, Lidia immediately began working in the creative field as a graphic designer, working for various companies and agencies; Her know-how ranges from Brand Design to Publishing, from Maxi billboards to Web Design. About Art The years pass but her passions remain, this was the motivation that pushed Lidia to resume her artistic career. She returned to drawing almost for fun in 2016, after years of inactivity, and began her artistic journey. The subject is the woman, according to her, a mystical and pagan creature, who represents love, beauty, intellect, passion and spirituality. She transposes part of herself, of her emotions and of her world, through her women. From here she starts a research that allows her to combine the technical knowledge of graphics with illustration, developing works where in addition to femininity and eroticism the basis of graphic study can also be seen; create shapes, rhythms, motifs, harmonies that, like in a dance, make the spectator experience the emotion of "Beauty".
