Dear visitors! The main influence which formed me predominantly as an artist of the traditional and the sacral art is my deep respect of the ancient traditions, their philosophy, the faith of those times, in other words their way of thinking or living if you more like. The urge to explore the ways of the old masters and the visual expression of their personal faith and revelations expressed through the colours on their brushes, has fascinated me so much since that understanding offered me the key and the answer of the importance of every human's unique path which without exception should be in accordance with the universal law. From that harmonious synergy of our personal choices and the Law of God, which is the law of the love, derives the true happiness. And only when a human being is truthfully happy, he can express the fullness of being alive in every aspect of life. That philosophy is also known as "˜'ars vivendi'' or the art of true living. My way or my path is the path of the Christian Orthodox faith, thus through knowing the faith of my forefathers, my tradition, I'm knowing more and more about myself, I'm strengthening my roots which grow and go deeper and deeper into the past and collect some of the long lost secret ingredients and recipes who helped me to procreate and participate in the resurrection of the forgotten knowledge of the ancient times. From the ancient treasures of that knowledge, for me as an artist probably most important is knowing the true way of the icon. "Knowing" here has a much deeper and complex meaning. I must admit that much assistance and important information that helped me toward the process of becoming an iconographer were my studies during my stay in Slovenia. For those few years that I have lived and worked there, I joined the Faculty of Catholic theology on the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia.
