Inspired by abstract expressionists like Pollock who experimented with the way he applied paint. I enjoy playing with different processes . Here I pressed on the paint like in a mono print and went over the thick impasto paint to highlight the texture.

I started my journey as an artist painting portraits with the Heatherly School of Fine Art . when a friend asked me to paint a portrait of her dog I found it tremendously satisfying and diverted to painting animals. Then I took a BA in Fine Art at Central St Martins, graduating in 2013, which opened my eyes to the world of abstract painting. My practice now straddles both abstract animals and pure abstracts.
