The majority of Brigitte’s award-winning work draws on the study of people and structure. She focuses her attention on paintings and drawings which are characterized by exploring the human faces or bodies’ gestures, emotions and psychology, inviting the viewer to look inward for meaning. Her recent work is focused on textile as an artistic medium. She combines hand and free motion machine embroidery with painting, drawing and collage inspired by drawing techniques as copper stich. Kopp's awarded collages and mixed media work has been shown in national and international solo and group exhibitions and is included in private and permanent collections as the National Quilt Museum in Paducah, US.
