About The Artwork

Remember the time you took a walking tour of Paris, or imagine what it might be with this memorable painting of the city, light and the excitement of a street cafe I love the work of Maxfield Parrish and Claude Monet and use their viewpoints as a launching pad for my work. I admire the work of 19th and early 20th century painters and you can see the influence of their work and I try to use their working methods as a departure point for my paintings. I always paint on fine weave linen using glazes for depth and richness, and I follow the time tested principles of painting using archival materials on stabilized linen to create a painting that will last cent
