Springtime in NJ - a prethora of azaleas all over my neighborhood in different brilliant and subtle colors are my inspiration. I hope the viewers will want to visit me and see them in person, or at the least, want to take my painting home with them. It is painted with a palette knife for the ease of layering one color on top of another to provide the depth that I see, and acrylic paint for fast drying, again to make the layering possible. The texture resulting from this technique adds to the interest. It is wired for hanging. Framing is up to the new owner.
