Backyard garden in rainy season Painting

The painting is inspired by my own backyard in Bangkok, Thailand. The garden is always on my mind. I made this painting to 'bring the garden inside' during quarantine. As the painting is quite large, it gives a sense of standing in a real garden, surrounded by trees. Tropical plants in the painting exist in real life. Each plant has its own story. The two big ones are Indian cork tree and mango tree. The painting is made using foraged pigments near my home, such as clay, leaves and rocks. As the pigments are used to paint a garden, this method can be called 'nature returning to nature'. *The frame is hard wood made from a window framing of my house.
