Beyond ‘I have no clue about my future, but I live on with hopes’ Zinna Yoo reinterpreted lyrical ambience of oriental paintings with modern perspective. Using dripping technique that allows to manage color density, the artist realistically expressed the texture of woods and leaves. Straight lines in the work indicate the flow of water, sea and time, while the circles, expressed as the sun and moon, are the outlet where she communicates with the world. Artist Zinnia believes that human lives are much alike nature. We plan for the future, but looking back, our path diverged from the plans that we had. Likewise, the nature that we always believe that we do know thoroughly welcomes us with appearance that we never expected to see when we encounter it. With its diverse colors, toughness and tranquility, we hope this work consoles the minds of audience viewing it before their eyes.
