Bustling Evening At A Goa Beach- Goa- India Painting

Goa’s beaches are full of visitors from India and from the world over during the October–February tourist season. The peak time in the day is the late afternoon period. Samir generally visits Goa each year during December–January. On one such occasion, he decided to paint a scene at a beach depicting this period. ‘Bustling Evening At A Goa Beach’ was done on a big photo mount board with water color washes and thick felt pens. He has captured the bustling life full of visitors and tourists, some walking, some on snacking tables and chairs set up by the restaurants on the beach, while some others watching and appreciating the scene. The vibrancy of the colors of the tourists’ attire as also their varied appearance all add to the bustling scene. The yellow shade of the sandy beach in the foreground with the blues of the sea and the sky in the background convey the late afternoon effect.
