About The Artwork
This painting is the first of a series inspired in a visit to Viscaya , J. Deering winter home in Miami ( now Viscaya Museum and Gardens). I felt absolutly touched by the combination of art, history, nature and fantasy and the very particular way of combinating abundance of elements (natural and artificial) and styles into a perfect balance. I connected with the dreamlike vision of this project and with the mix of eccentricity and scrupulous attention to detail, which in a way is part of my own artistic practice. This artwork is currently in MIAMI.
