This painting was created in March 2020, during the Covid19 quarantine. Watching the crisis unfold has been heart-wrenching on many levels, and there are certainly hard times ahead. We are all finding ways of coping with the uncertainty of a global pandemic. I have found comfort in my painting studio, and my work has become very large in scale.

During this time, I am embracing patience--patience with myself, patience with those in my (suddenly) small realm, and patience with those in the larger world. We will get through this. In the meantime, let's love each other and nurture all ways of expressing our reactions to this very weird moment.
