Crossing Orange Field 1 Painting

I am a freelance visual artist. I live in Germany and work in Germany and Denmark. The focus of my art lies in the elaboration of nature and landscapes developed from the study of certain landscape regions. I work in oil and acrylic on paper and canvas, as well as in the field of printmaking with the technique of monoprinting. In the implementation of my artworks, speed plays an important role, only a quick impulse and movement with the colour can make it visible what I have felt through my inner filter. My way of working cannot be planned, it develops during the painting process. Spontaneity and clarity are also important in my work. I have a great passion for the Nordic landscapes. Be in the nature and paint outside brings me back to my roots. In the recent years I made working trips to various Nordic countries such as Scotland, Sweden, Norway, Finnland, Denmark, and the Faroe Islands. In my art I create a new perspective of landscape and nature for the viewer. In times of increasing cultivation of landscape and climate change, the artistic engagement with this subject also has a documentary and political character.
