Architect, sculptor and painter originally from León, Guanajuato (Mexico) dedicated to the arts professionally since 2010. He currently lives in the center of the city of Mérida where his home studio is located. His work is a reflection on the temporality of the human being and the different adaptation processes that he experiences with his social, urban and natural environment. All of his work is autobiographical, meaning that it develops simultaneously with the personal experiences he lives in each place where he settles in specific periods of time. In this way his work becomes a traveler's log where the stories are emptied naturally as a method to understand his nature as a nomadic being. Through his painting technique he deconstructs the landscape, creating fragmented and broken surfaces that become very intimate x-rays of his life. On the other hand, in sculpture he uses pure geometries that merge with each other, creating anonymous “human architectures” that accompany each story like a confession between the lines. Currently he ventures into textile art experimentally, weaving his first compositions suspended in space as a simulation of three-dimensional urban areas.
