My name is Feodot and I am an artist from Ukraine, from a city called Dnipro, which is located on the Dnipro River. I was born in the spring of 1994 in a family of artists. My grandfather, father, mother, two uncles and aunt are artists. The decision to follow in the footsteps of my parents was made after participation in the mural painting of the church with my father. And in 2009 I entered the painting department at the art college, where I studied for 4 years and graduated with honours. After obtaining my degree, I continued to paint and participated in the murals of other churches. I am always open to something new. That's why I accepted an invitation to work at the creative workshop that made unique handcrafted book covers. My work in an experimental studio was focused on the artistic processing of metals. I have done etching, gilding, silvering, nickel plating, worked with enamels, epoxy resins as well as the development of new technologies and introduction into production. Some books I have worked on are in the collections of dignitaries in Eastern Europe and Asia. After some time of experimenting with book covers, I began to paint again. I began this path of searching for myself in creating much more consciously. The series of works on vinyl records is a reflection of my love for old things, respect for the environment and a vision of a new space for creativity. My life experience and desires merged and became something holistic. I love creating beauty. Painting is my way to get to know myself. It is my language, which conveys my thoughts and feelings to people and the World. Painting is not just a hobby or profession for me. Painting has become a part of me.
