Painting: Acrylic, Paint on Canvas. From her anonymous portraits she creates a variety of different characters. The peculiarity of this image is the selected narrow image format on which only a section of the face was painted. With a deep look, seductive from within, which touches the viewer and captivates. The lightness is apparent, as if the canvas and colors together with the image protagonists appear lucid and schematic. No tangible contours, no tangible outlines and lines, even the dark shades have a transparency. Despite a very large reception history of portraits and countless examples, the artist actually finds an almost intuitive and individual approach to this important motif of visual art and is free of conscious templates. The individual work processes in the creation of the picture often proceed temperamentally and dynamically, then again in concentrated calm with a finely differentiated choice of colors. The artist works with acrylic paints, pigments and various stains. Before each painting a sketch and an initial concept is created, yet the artist leaves much to chance in the painting process. All paintings are created in several layers, which merge and combine into and over each other. The artist understands this process both symbolically and ritually, namely as a reverse skinning of each person.

In her portraits she shows faces of children, women and men of the whole world. She does not paint famous people. Similarities are accidental. These anonymous portraits show a variety of different characters. In her landscape and glacier paintings, the artist focuses attention on the changes in nature, induced by climate change. Fascinated by people and landscapes, she composes images in different series on the themes of people, portraits, landscapes and glacier melt. The artist works with acrylic paints, pigments and various inks. Initial sketches and a concept are created before each painting. But the artist also leaves much to chance in the painting process. These are the uncontrolled gestural brushstrokes, the splashes of paint, drops and running traces in all pictures.
