About The Artwork

Recent work using industrial paint. Photograph shot in Luxor, Egypt. Large print glued on wood. Bergelin´s preferred technique is a kind of automatism, using simple, primitive lines and holding the pastels, pencils or brushes very gently. The picture's effect is a kind of "romantic symbolism". Bergelin want to uncover his innermost thoughts and true believes. What you see and feel relates directly to to his most intimate life and deals with life defining questions that are constantly there in our minds, whether we want them to be or not. The more you observe the pictures the clearer you see the message of love. Finally you see that all are a tribute to life in it´s ultimate state. It´s really a unconscious and very immediate way of creating pictures.
