ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting combines abstraction, landscape and figurative images to evoke a feeling of a specific memory. I used images from vintage magazines to capture the high school boys and used my favorite maps and landscapes to surround the figure. This is an UNSTRETCHED canvas and will be delivered in a tube. Almost any framing store or art supply store can easily stretch the canvas. My paintings were highlighted in Saatchi Art Featured art collection in 2018. I've been included in the Los Angeles editions of The Other Art Fair and chosen as an "Artist to Watch" by Artillery Magazine and one of the "Ten Don't Miss Artists" by Saatchi's head curator Rebecca Wilson for the 2018 Other Art Fair in Santa Monica.
