About The Artwork
The icon of the Old Testament Trinity is inspired by the icon of the half of the 16th century from the Church of the Trinity (Drohobych, Ukraine) by Master Fedusko from Sambir. Icon painted on a linden board covered with tissue and gesso. The picture is made in the technique of egg tempera and covered with a protective layer of varnish. Paints are of natural origin (minerals, semi-precious stones). Ancient technology and natural materials provide long life for the icon.
