JACOB FARKAS: Colorful Cubes Painting

American artist Jacob Farkas was born in Brooklyn, into a family with a history of painting and fell in love with watercolors at the age of 10. After graduating from high school, he enrolled at The City University of New York, where he received his BFA degree. His award-winning paintings have been included in numerous juried and gallery exhibitions, and they hang in private and corporate collections throughout the country, as well as overseas. Jacob Farkas divides his time between painting indoors (in his studio) and outdoors (on location). Jacob Farkas is a unique painter who has developed his own distinct painting style that is instantly recognizable. His watercolors are full of luminous color, rich shadows, and beautifully drawn shapes. He uses meticulous attention to composition to craft paintings that are descriptive and yet expressive, realistic and yet abstract.
