Kukeri - Kukierzy or kukeri, also chaushi, babugeri, stanchinari, dervishi, starci, surati or jamalari - a carnival group of costumers that walk through a village in Bulgaria during Lent (near Easter) . With their ritual behavior, the puppets chase away evil spirits and ensure the prosperity and happiness of people and the earth. A visual artist who uses the medium of painting and illustration in her work, seamlessly combining these areas in her practice. Creates interdependent objects, opening communication between the object and the canvas. Laureate of the 7th Gdańsk Biennale of Art of the Gdańsk City Gallery and Cultural Scholarships of the City of Gdańsk. Since 2019, she has been a member of the Colony of Artists foundation and a former supporting member of HALO Kultura Gdynia. He collaborates with the Borowik Foundation on projects for Polish Art Now. Her works are exhibited, among others: Gdańsk Shakespeare Theatre, Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk and Warsaw - SalonAkademii Gallery, Noc Wrzeszcza - Palma Foundation, Gdańsk City Gallery - multimedia material from the archives of the Colony of Artists, or at the Faculty of Art of the University of Opole. She ended 2020 with an exhibition at the WL4 Mleczny Piotr gallery under the care of Mariusz Waras m-city, after which she began 2021 with an interdisciplinary group event OPA #01 in Cologne Dolne Miasto, and ended with an individual exhibition in the Gdańsk Archipelago of Culture - GAK Plama. in 2022 her works could be seen in Warsaw, Łódź and Gdańsk under the curatorship of Agata Nowosielska. He lives and creates in Gdansk, Poland.
