ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This little painting was inspired by the Grove Historical Site in Glenview Il. There on one of the trails is this old fallen oak and right there in the middle of the Humus that has built up over the years inside its hollow interior, a young strong sapling is growing and thriving till one day in the great future, this little sapling will be a mighty oak with the genes of the fallen oak deep within its bark.
