This painting started as an abstract piece. As usual I have worked on the floor of my studio, keep turning the canvas with 90 degrees. I do this until I find a way out of chaos to the resolution. Until I get a sight of something meaningful in which way I can finish the painting. Even it is still an abstract, or it became an abstracted figurative one. In this case I realized that this can be finished only in one way and that is a portrait. It's not easy to explain, but the point is that all of my abstract works are also figurative at the same time. This might be because I paint figurative pieces, especially portraits.
