ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting opens up a new series of artworks loosely inspired by the french revolution and Marie's Antoinette lush and busy social life. Le Godmiché Royal was a pamphlet written after Marie Antoinette was falsely accused in the libelles of having an affair with Lafayette and of having a sexual relationship with the English Baroness 'Lady Sophie Farrell' of Bournemouth. These accusations as there was no evidence to tell if this was all truth were never supported. IMPORTANT NOTE: PLEASE ALLOW FOR A FEW DAYS OF WAIT SO I CAN ORDER WOODEN CRATE FROM A COMPANY SPECIALIZED IN THAT KIND OF FINE ART ORDERS. THANK YOU.
