Port. Dutch sailors Painting

Hello everyvone, i am Ivan - Czech painter, portraitist and supporter of classical romanticism. I was born in 1959 in Prague. All my life I have been learning to interpret the language of nature, I dream to be a mediator between the world of spirit and people. In art I prefer: portrait, landscape, historical painting. The aesthetic principles set by the great masters of the past, beginning with the Renaissance, remain unshakable for me. After primary school, I was accepted to the art school of letter painting in Prague, which enabled to get to know better the procedures of all painting techniques. And it was the technique of the old masters that is less well known today and largely forgotten, enchanted me so much that I devoted itself for the next three years. I mainly studied the composition of paints and the laying of paint paste - layered as Rembrandt or Brandl did, up to a very demanding technique of glaze paints - painted by RafaelloSanti or Leonardo da Vinci. I masters the classic mixtion gilding, but also the very demanding and complex palette technique, where gold foils can be polished to a high gloss, known from Gothic, Renaissance panel paintings. My paintings adorn the interiors of art collectors in the Czech Republic, Germany, Slovakia, Italy, Switzerland, Russia and many other countries. One of my paintings, for example, are part of the decoration of the Indonesian Embassy in Prague and it is make me happy.
