ABOUT THE ARTWORK
"Portrait 4" is a painting in my series "FACES" The painting of female faces in bright, vibrant, abstract colors are a contradiction to my iconic celebrities. The faces of different women are not a specific persons. I play with color temperature, contrast and complimentary colors while i stay true to the values. I don´t use black. Prussian blue is my darkest color. To get some chaos in the painting i paint with palette knife. Painted realistic in bright abstract colors with dripping paints. Painting is for sale. There is only one original. The painting is an unique original acrylic painting. There will be no prints! My inspirations are great artists like: Francoise Nielly, Voka, Peter Terrin, Chuck Close, Jean-Michel Basquiat etc. The paintings will be shipped in a tube. (canvas is ready to be mounted on the strecher bars)
