About The Artwork
I wanted to create an iconic reclining nude that related to my current studies. At this moment I have not seen a reclining nude of a super computer. The work is based off a reclining nude from Ingres, one of my favorite artists from the 1800's. This work is an evolution of my discourse on technology. I hope the viewers can relate to the advancements of technology merging with our consciousness. I consider this one of my corner stone pieces of this collection. The process is from sketch to machine learning and painted by hand with oil paint. I think this painting provides a lot of thinking and it feels great in my studio on the wall.
