Reconnection Painting

Lubka S - art with a Soul - Inspired by my personal journey and growth. My whole life journey had a deep deep influence on my work as more I work on myself, more it reflects in depth and richness of my creations. A lot of Slovakian influences (flowers and patterns), especially from Easter times are often present in my creations. Past couple of years I spent exploring the darker emotions like anger, jealousy or sadness that shows in my recent art work with more approval for the darker expressions, the ‘unwanted’ part of ourselves. I love exploring new mediums and techniques. My favourite one is Acrylics on Canvas, using various pouring techniques or experimenting with resin, and I use recycled materials in my work a lot, as environment is often on my mind. I enjoy using various little beads from my childhood, or glitters I brought from my adventure in India, or various pendants, pieces of mirrors from the times of me organising and running events; and of course using dried paints from my previous creations. A lot of the pieces have a specific intention in them to touch particular parts of peoples’ souls, to provoke, to heal, bring joy or please the heart. If any of the pictures ‘speaks’ to you, slow down and feel. It doesn’t need to make sense, important is to stay open to it. With Love, Lubka S
