About The Artwork

Discover the charm of forgotten history with this meticulously detailed watercolor painting, featuring an old rusty lock hanging on a shabby light gray door. Measuring 21 x 29 cm, this realistic piece captures the beauty and intrigue of an object that many might overlook, but that holds a wealth of stories within its weathered surface. **A Story Behind the Art** Some people find beauty in everything, while others constantly seek the latest trends and flashy new items. I am drawn to things with history, objects that whisper tales of their past lives. This old lock, hanging on a worn gray door, caught my eye and captivated my imagination. Its rusted exterior and aged patina speak of years gone by, of secrets kept and stories untold. Unable to simply pass by this unique lock, I felt compelled to paint it. Through my brushstrokes, I aimed to capture not just its physical appearance, but also the sense of history it embodies. Have a close look at this painting and let it transport you into a world of imagination and storytelling. **Details** - Medium: Watercolor on high-quality paper - Dimensions: 21 x 29 cm - Unframed

I was born in Kharkiv, Ukraine but currently live in Lisbon, Portugal. I have been fascinated by drawing and painting since my childhood. There was quite a long break in my artistic carrier. I've practiced law for more then 20 years, worked as diplomat in foreign missions. But relocation to Portugal in 2022 and the beautiful nature of this country inspired me to pick up my brushes and paints and start to create! I am a watercolor artist. My art is multifaceted and diverse. I used to live in various countries and is now traveling a lot, always studying other cultures and exploring the nature in different parts of the world: US, Europe, Australia, Asia Pacific. Now I create both realistic and abstract pieces of art, my works varies in colors and their deepness.
