Multi-media and oft (accidentally) an installation artist with a working practise on mental health, specifically with an autobiographical focus on Anorexia, Depression and Borderline Personality Disorder. Using a combination of 2 + 3D work I aim to create spaces which encourage people to talk openly and freely about mental health. I want to help start conversations about the way society copes with mental health, but also to stimulate discussions about mental health closer to home; theirs and the people that surround them. With hopes that through more frequent and unreserved discourse about mental health the pace of change and global education about mental health disorders can lead to real positive and progressive change in the way mental health is viewed and treated. A Recent Fine Art graduate from Liverpool School of Art and Design currently undertaking a second residency at Arts, Letters & Numbers until the end of October.
